I thought a long time what book to choose because I wanted to read a book that is close in my spirit and at the same time has an interesting plot. I asked for advice from my friends. They recommended me a great variety of books they liked. It was a difficult decision. But my choice fell on the book "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte. Several friends were delighted with this book and told about it very vividly. What is more, I was fascinated by Gothic elements of the novel.
I heard about this book a lot. I know that Emily Bronte is lauded for her only novel "Wuthering Heights" but it's a very famous writing. There are several film adaptations of the book. Moreover, it has inspired some musicians to write songs according to this novel.So, I hope to get a lot of emotions from reading this book and make the positive findings about it.
Good choice, Nata! I consider 'Wuthering Heights' to be one of my favourite books. Its main feature is the unusual composition which takes your attention from the first pages. Although the book is about love (as the most of the novels), I can't say it's an ordinary story because it tells us about relations between parents and children, neighbours, the poor and the rich, and also we learn how people can totally change their character after betrayal, when even an angel becomes a devil. This book brought me lots of emotions and explained me some pecularities of human's behaviour. Do you agree with me? Did you enjoy the plot while reading?
ОтветитьУдалитьYes, I totally agree with you, Ann. Now I can say that it's my favorite book. I enjoy mysteries. And all the stories with ghosts bewitched me. I've never read a book with such a big interest and exciting like this one.
